Starlite Lanes, the home of bowling in Grand Haven, has a new home on the web!

Grand Starlite Lanes is comprised of 30 lanes, each kept up to the most stringent standards. A Grand Haven, Michigan icon since 1960, Starlite has long been a place for family fun as well as competitive league bowling.
	For the serious bowlers, we have 300 lockers available for yearly rental. For the more casual bowler, we feature automatic scoring, 22 lanes of bumpers for the younger bowlers, and the areas best glow-in-the-dark bowling featuring the latest music paired with glow lanes, pins, and bowling balls.

In case you get thirsty while bowling, Starlite offers a fully stocked snack bar with a number of beverage choices. If hunger strikes, the Driftwood Inn is attached to the bowling alley. "The Drift" has a full bar and a full menu with many delicious food choices including the famous sizzler, nachos, burgers, and many other appetizers.

Welcome to our new site!

We have been working hard over the past several years and are proud to present our new site. The new bowlstarlite.com features new and updated information on the hottest participation sport in the United States. In the coming months we hope to make the new bowlstarlite.com the place to be when you think bowling on the lakeshore.

Bowling and the Weather

One of the reasons bowling is such a popular sport is that it can be played year round in all types of weather. In Michigan the primary bowling season begins in early fall and lasts through late spring. While the bowling center itself is climate controlled this time of year also means rain and snow, two things that don't mix well with bowling. Our regular customers will know that Starlite Lanes is constantly asking bowlers and spectators alike to remove their wet footwear before they enter the bowling center. We don't do this to save our carpets, we do it to save our bowlers. Bowling shoes are meant to slide. When they get wet they can't slide and this is unsafe for our bowlers. So please, whether your visiting us to bowl or are just watching, remove your wet footwear before entering the bowling area.
